Trying to update a link:
Solid Facts from the President (link not available)I stumbled upon another source, which I to the best of my knowledge did not use at the time. Though looking at the details, it may be a great footnote for what I may have filtered somehow.

This may be unfair, here is a piece about a fact check for both. What I will point out is, that the evidence that he crossed the aisle is that Democrats voted for a budget that he takes credit for as head of the Senate Ways and Means Committee, a position he had because Republicans held the majority. Who crossed the aisle? But speaking of crossing the aisle, there are a few Democrats that vote independently, and at least one Replublican who actually crossed the aisle. You go figure.

But the ecomomy is an important issue, and control of government matters on the roller coaster * of tax and spend or cut and don't invest.

* important to actually read this one. and I won't explain the path that brought this ramble maybe it is about the "quotation marks" that do matter where they are culled from, when a detailed read tells more of the story.
